Marissa

Marissa graduated from The University of Iowa in 2021 with degrees in Psychology and Criminology, Law, and Justice. She will also have earned a Master’s in Criminology and Human Behavior from Regis University in 2023. Before advocating for clients at Safe Passage, Marissa discovered her passion for human services and justice through her work at a substance abuse clinic and within a Circuit Clerk’s Office. She hopes to use this experience to ensure that survivors’ voices are heard both inside and outside of the courtroom.
