Jay earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Northern Illinois University. He will be pursuing a Masters of Social Work with a specialization in criminal justice and mental health in the future. Jay began his journey at Safe Passage as an intern, enjoyed his role as a Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator, before accepting his current position as Residential Case Manager. Jay values accountability, self-growth, compassion, and is passionate about learning how the brain functions. Jay’s goal is to create a nonviolent and non-abusive future for both survivors and offenders.
