Bilingual PAIP Co-Facilitator

Safe Passage has an opening for a part time Spanish Speaking Co-Facilitator in the Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP). Bachelor’s degree in human services field or equivalent. Must have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim-centered services. Candidate shall have organizational abilities, good listening skills, and the ability to multi-task. Experience in or familiarity with domestic violence victims’ issues. Espouses a philosophy of egalitarian relationships. Is not a perpetrator of violence.


Domestic Violence Children’s Counselor

Safe Passage has an opening for a full time Domestic Violence Child Counselor. This position requires a master’s degree in human services field. Experience with/knowledge of trauma-informed interventions, a plus. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim-centered services. In addition, the ideal candidate will also have organizational abilities, good listening skills, and the ability to multi-task. Spanish speaking a plus.


Sexual Assault Counselor

Safe Passage is hiring for a full time Sexual Assault Counselor. This position requires a master’s degree in human services area. Must have an understanding of sexual assault, domestic violence, trauma, and victim-centered services. Must complete state required domestic violence and sexual assault training within first three months of employment. Must have organizational abilities, good listening skills, and the ability to multi-task. Spanish speaking a plus. 

The Sexual Assault Counselor will provide sexual assault counseling and crisis intervention services to victims of sexual assault and their significant others. This position will work some evening hours.


Overnight Residential Case Manager

Safe Passage is hiring for a full time Overnight Residential Case Manager. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human services. Must have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim-centered services. Must complete state-required domestic violence and sexual assault training within first three months of employment. Must have organizational abilities, good listening skills, and the ability to multi-task. Bilingual a plus. 

The Case Manager will provide crisis intervention services to clients on the phone, walk-in clients, and meet the urgent physical and emotional needs of survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence. This position provides but is not limited to the following services for clients in our emergency shelter program: advocacy, counseling, information and referral, prevention services, and others to promote the empowerment and independence of these clients.


Volunteer Coordinator

Safe Passage has an opening for a full time Volunteer Coordinator. This position requires a
bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human services field. Volunteer or nonprofit experience
helpful. Good interpersonal skills, project and people management, and the ability to think
creatively. Must be able to demonstrate strong initiative and an ability to organize and
prioritize.
This position must have flexibility, some evening and weekend hours will be required.
The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, assist with placement, and support volunteers to meet
the agency’s needs. This position will also be charged with the enhancement of the recruitment
and retention of community members.


Prevention Specialist

Safe Passage has an opening for a full time Prevention Specialist. This position requires a
bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human services field. Must have an understanding of
domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim-centered services. Must complete state required
65 hour training within first three months of employment. Must have organizational ability, good
listening skills, and the ability to multi-task. This position must have flexibility, some evening
and weekends hours will be required.
The Prevention Specialist will provide information and education regarding domestic and
sexual violence to a wide range of community members; in addition to, promoting awareness
of services available at Safe Passage.


Domestic Violence Program Manager

Safe Passage has an opening for a full time Domestic Violence Program Manager. This
position requires a master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or equivalent with
current state licensure required. Must have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual
assault, and victim-centered services. Must have organizational abilities, good listening skills,
and the ability to multi-task. Flexibility a must in working hours. This position will work some
evenings and weekends.
The DV Program Manager will be responsible for the supervision of domestic violence
counseling and legal advocacy program staff. This position will assist with the program
development, management and community relationships to help build the program.
